Google Mobile Search Front for Verizon?

Google and Verizon are in talks to secure a Mobile Search Deal, according to Wall Street Journal reports. If the deal is closed, it would make Google the default search provider for Verizon mobile devices. Previously, Verizon and other mobile technology have been reluctant to let search companies such as Google, Yahoo!, MSN and others enter this arena.

Allegedly Google, upon closing of potential deal, would share the advertising revenue generated with Verizon. The goal is to create a new search platform to streamline business, making it easy for Verizon users to access search options from their mobile devices.
